I thought that's what appletalk was for but you still need a pc to make it work. That's why I'm not a big fan of Apple stuff it doesn't work with everything, if it did that would be great.(Jobbs probably just made a obscene gesture to me)

Versaworks

https://www.virtualbox.org/ if you can figure this out you can run Windows from your Mac, not sure if Versaworks will be 100% functional this way but it's worth a shot if you really need to get jobs done.

Versaworks will always need a PC to work. However, with that said - I have done several successful installs on a MAC running a windows shell. The user was able to switch back and forth and it was transparent. I have also had one user use a mac and drop it in a shared folder on the network and bring it up and run it from the PC. If on the MAC you can use the VW input folder for the drop but you still need a PC.

It is possible!! Using either Boot Camp and installing a windows partition, or using Parallels.

Both work fairly well Boot Camp is easier to setup. Parallels is faster.

Just my 2 cents

Also you must have a newer, Intel based Mac. the old Power PC core wont support the x86 or x64 system that windows requires.

Versaworks On Mac

Mac

I've got VersaWorks loaded on my iMac using Windows 7 in Parallels 10. Does anyone have any knowledge they can share of what network settings and driver to use on the Mac and how to set up my printer in Windows?

It took a while for me to load the software and update but Versworks looks like its ready to go. Just need some network help.
